Brand Website and New Online-Shop go live
In collaboration with our e-commerce subsidiary Commerce21 GmbH, Kittelberger implemented the Erima website and shop to provide consultancy, conception, development and design from a single source. A link was provided from the CMS to the online shop to maintain product data in the content management system. This helps editors to easily retrieve product data and images from the shop and import them into CMS pages.

For example, the search engine scans both systems to find hits. The shopping basket and the login function are visible on all pages.
Details of the Erima Online Shop implementation
The ERIMA Online Shop retrieves product data and images from the data inventory of the existing advastamedia® PIM and MAM systems. This ensures data consistency in print and online and utilises synergy effects.
ERIMA retrieves stocks and prices from the ERP system several times a day and imports them into the online shop so that they are up-to-date at all times. Orders from the shop are transferred to the ERP system for further processing and can be edited by processes already in place at ERIMA.
The navigation functions in the Online Shop provide several paths to the product – besides target group selection (women, men and children), users can also opt for selection by sport types or by various ERIMA product lines. Users can also search product lists using filters for size, colour and the required price range. The product lists are displayed based on "LazyLoading", i.e. the page can be scrolled continuously and loads the following products which appear.
The performance of the e-commerce platform used was optimised by creating additional query tables to achieve the rapid display of product lists and filter functions.
The shop offers payment modes which include Paypal, credit card, immediate bank transfer and giropay.
Erima Brand Website
The ERIMA website was produced using responsive web design. As a result, the display adapts itself automatically to the screen size of various terminals and is therefore optimised for use on smartphones, tablets and desktop computers. This optimisation also plays an ever more important role when it comes to ranking in search engines (e.g. Google).
ERIMA editors can also execute administrative tasks in an instant using the practical form builder and other tools.
