Responsive Website Relaunch for Bosch Thermotechnology Germany
Background information
With the brand transition from Junkers to Bosch, Kittelberger media solutions developed the new website for Bosch Thermotechnology Germany.
The site went live at the end of January 2019, built in responsive design and based on the new Bosch style guide. From concept development to screen and template design, all the way through CMS and online catalog implementation, every step was part of the project scope.
Additionally, the new dealer locator—also designed in the updated style—and numerous new features aimed at improving usability were included in the implementation.
For the world’s leading trade fair for water, heating, and climate technologies – ISH in Frankfurt (March 11–15, 2019) – further special features were developed for the new website.

About Bosch Thermotechnology
For over 125 years, Bosch Thermotechnology has been providing efficient, easy-to-use, and reliable devices to ensure that people feel warm and comfortable in their homes. Today, Bosch Thermotechnology offers customers worldwide solutions for indoor climate, hot water, and decentralized energy management. Since 1932, Junkers and Bosch have shared a close partnership. This collaboration made it possible to combine traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Under the Bosch brand, Bosch Thermotechnology is now focused on the future—with smart home technology in which thermal systems play an increasingly central role. The long-standing Junkers brand continues to live on, as its history, tradition, and experience are still present in every Bosch-branded product that includes Junkers components.
From Concept to Screen and Template Design, CMS, and Online Catalog Development
Based on a modular implementation using atomic design principles, the CMS pages of the new responsive website were created individually. The online catalogs, managed via the advastamedia® framework developed by Kittelberger, were also built using CMS includes. The technical product data delivered from SAP to Kittelberger is combined with descriptive product information and images to be published as an online catalog on the website. In addition to CMS, the dealer locator, and online catalog, the new website also includes features such as a cookie manager, filter function, product comparison, custom forms, and a site-wide search function.
The entire system is hosted in the data center of Kittelberger media solutions GmbH in Reutlingen.
