Würth and Kittelberger have been collaborating in the field of catalog production for many years. Kittelberger’s extensive and diverse experience in the creation of automatically generated print materials formed the foundation for entrusting the optimization of Würth’s product catalogs to the Reutlingen-based service and software company.

The product catalogs span between 2,000 and 6,000 pages and cover Würth’s entire product range—from tools and furniture fittings to dowels and screws. At Würth, the catalogs are compiled through a multi-stage process and automatically output using Adobe InDesign.

The data is then passed to Kittelberger. During the finishing process, image sizes are adjusted, page breaks are aligned, and tables are optimized. Once finalized, the reviewed data is prepared for handover to the printing company. After finishing, the completed pages are re-imported into Würth’s PIM (Product Information Management) system for further use.
