Capabilities of the New Media Cloud
The “Daiber Media Cloud” media portal provides images, documents, informational materials, and product data, enabling the distribution of relevant media assets to various target groups such as dealers, distributors, agencies, and journalists. Media assets are made globally available in combination with article data. This allows an article to be displayed together with all associated media objects in different views and colors, giving users access to the full range of assets linked to a product.
Additional media can be shared via file-sharing, and entire collections can be marked and made available for distribution.
The Daiber Media Cloud serves as a central digital asset management system and is based on Kittelberger’s proprietary advastamedia® platform.
During initial data migration, information was extracted directly from file names and used to automatically populate metadata within the system—significantly reducing and nearly eliminating manual effort.
File variants are also generated automatically. For example, PNG versions are created using the clipping path in the original file to place images on a transparent background. Various file formats are generated for different output channels and made available for download directly within the application.
