sia Abrasives, headquartered in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, is one of the world's top three providers of innovative abrasives. The company develops, manufactures, and distributes complete sanding systems tailored to specific requirements and applications for processing all types of surfaces.

In 2012, we were commissioned by sia Abrasives to implement a central media database. The first step was the setup of a Media Asset Management system based on advastamedia®, enabling global access to image and media assets.

Following the import of approximately 60,000 article data records, the next step is now to use the data for database-driven catalog production.
