With 141 years of tradition as a manufacturer of fine metal toys, Märklin can illustrate the history of tin toys from the earliest simple tinker work to today’s Maxi series models with impressive examples. While metal toys were once Märklin’s main field of activity, today the focus of the company’s operations is on electric model railways.
Since 2001, we have been supporting Märklin in the areas of graphic design, e-business, and software development.
Excerpt from our projects:
The extranet for managing and maintaining international websites forms the basis for a globally consistent online presence of Gebr. Märklin & Cie GmbH.
Through a combination of local content (maintained by each country) and central content (maintained by Märklin), each country features a comprehensive and engaging online presentation. For the models Big Boy and Franco Crosti, Kittelberger created high-quality 3D models and 3D animations for online presentation. In addition, a Collection Shop was implemented for selecting and ordering gift ideas, nostalgic items, videos, watches, travel accessories, textiles, and more.
As a complement to the MHI portal, the Screen Shop was developed to allow centralized selection of special Märklin offers and order placement through MHI dealers.
