Our Contribution in the "Crossmedia Book" 2017–2018

The "Crossmedia Book" by Melaschuk-Medien, a standard reference for crossmedia and multichannel media production, has been published in its third edition. The book, titled “Web-to-Publish | Web-to-Media: Paths to Crossmedia Media Production” (short: “Crossmedia Book”), has been completely revised, updated, and expanded.

The lifecycle of crossmedia media production – from data management to system design and communication channels – is comprehensively and insightfully examined. It is aimed at project managers in companies, publishing houses, and media organizations who, through the presentation of technical and strategic success factors, receive a sound foundation for the successful implementation of marketing and media production projects.

The author and editor is Ira Melaschuk, who draws on her experience in IT and publishing projects as well as in consulting with a focus on selecting web-based marketing and publishing software systems.

Starting on page 200, the article “Würth Elektronik: Integrated Product Data Management and Multichannel Output” describes the setup and implementation of an output system for our client Würth Elektronik from Niedernhall.

The third edition comprises 288 pages and numerous illustrations. The crossmedially produced book is available both in printed form and in user-friendly digital versions.
