Kittelberger ISO27001 Certified

After successfully implementing an appropriate management system, Kittelberger media solutions has been officially certified according to ISO27001:2017. The relevant audits were conducted in 2019, and the certificate was issued at the end of January 2020.

Data, processes, services, and software – all are gaining importance

For Kittelberger, the certification marks an important milestone: the implemented management system governs all company processes related to data and information security.
“This gives our clients the assurance that we handle their content with care and in accordance with recognized standards,” explain Jürgen Frücht and Jan Kittelberger. Both managing directors closely oversaw the implementation of the standards and processes within the company – and consider the certification a strategic step.

Kittelberger media solutions supports international clients from industry and commerce in processing, managing, and publishing product and media data. “Data is the fuel of digitalization – and is therefore increasingly critical to business success. In more and more industries, information security is not just a best practice, but a prerequisite,” says Frücht.

The standard and its associated processes are applied across all areas of the company – from data management and software projects, to the development of the advastamedia® PIM/MAM suite, as well as data center operations and hosting.

About the standard – ISO27001

To be awarded an ISO 27001 certificate, an audit must be conducted by a certified ISO 27001 auditor. This includes reviewing the relevant reference documents, conducting an on-site inspection, and compiling an audit report.
