Girls' Day at Kittelberger

On April 22, 2021, Kittelberger opened its virtual doors for the digital Girls' Day event. The participants had the opportunity to meet our trainees in the field of IT and ask female developers questions about their everyday work at Kittelberger. A virtual tour through the building also offered a first glimpse into our facilities.

Quiz and workshop well received

Later, there was a quiz about IT terms and programming, which was a real hit with the participants! For example, they were asked about common programming languages, what a programming loop is, and even had to check a piece of code for correctness.

In the workshop, aimed at better understanding the profession, we demonstrated how a website is built using programming and a CMS (Content Management System). The students were able to choose images and write texts themselves, actively participating in the process of creating and publishing a website.
