Kittelberger media solutions GmbH now offers its employees the opportunity to further their education through an e-learning platform, thus meeting the team’s desire for a broad range of training opportunities.

Kittelberger media solutions GmbH covers a wide range of technical areas: software development, hosting, print automation, and web design. All of these fields are constantly evolving, and staying up to date is essential.

“Knowledge and development have always been critical factors for us. With this initiative, we’re gaining new impulses – not just on demand, but continuously,” says managing director Jan Kittelberger. Ongoing education is a key pillar of the company and is to be further strengthened through the introduction of this learning platform. “Our employees are our most valuable asset. Investing in their skills and qualifications is a strategic priority for us.” The chosen e-learning platform, Udemy Business, will become an important component of Kittelberger’s employee development strategy.

The entire team has access to the platform. Thousands of relevant professional and interdisciplinary courses are available: programming languages, software and infrastructure, design and web design. There are also tutorials on organization and communication, project management, personal development, and resilience. Additionally, internally produced courses can be uploaded to support internal knowledge sharing.

E-learning enables flexible, self-paced, and location-independent learning. Each learning type can find suitable courses. “This fits particularly well with a work culture where location and time are less important than results and collaboration,” says Kittelberger.

The platform is currently being rolled out across different departments to ensure widespread use within the company.

“We’re now creating learning paths for onboarding, for example, so new colleagues can quickly find their way around and see what’s important. We’re also planning team-based learning times that include room for discussion and reflection,” says HR officer Tanja Frank.

By the way, employees can use the platform freely and without cost in their free time as well. This lowers the barrier to both professional and personal development. “The initial feedback has been consistently positive,” adds Frank. “Personal growth and professional life go hand in hand – and we’re glad to put that into practice here.”
